*"The Great Smelly-Shoe Throwing Incident ... !"*

For all *BUSH-HATERS* ...

Nuff said ... if you can throw a shoe., (in that part of the World), and not be DEAD in 6 hrs. ... nuff said ...

My underlying problem is "are these folks capable of understanding *freedom* ..." ...

I suppose that - after over a thousand-years ... it will no doubt take them a couple of generations, assuming they follow through & educate their kids thoroughly, to understand what freedon actually means ...

Best, RR ...

If those shoes had been thrown at Saddam Hussein, the consequences would have been almost unimaginable.

Hmmm ... not unimagiable ... Sadam probably would've shot him on the spot himself, before he threw his second shoe ...

Remember ... shoe throwing, etc. is the *supreme-insult* in that weird part of the World ... many hammered Sadam's statue with their shoes ... as an insult ... after our super-brave guys felled it ...

Best, RR ...

So you want to hurl a loafer at Dubya but you don't have the guts to face an extended stay at Abu Ghraib? You don't have to! Now you can play at home!
