The Closed Thread about Piracy and Guns

Since the moderators saw fit to close the thread and "warn me"...

BOTH sides of the debate are more than welcome to continue the conversation elsewhere. I've provided for a place if you wish to continue the discussion - off this site.

Please feel welcome (no matter which side you're on) to express your opinion in regards to the subject we were discussing.

There won't be any "bannings" and BOTH sides are cordially invited.

Please do not expect much discussion of sailing or sailing related topics there - and remember SAILNET.COM is the site for that information.

I'll honor the request of the moderators and "shut up".

Piracy and Guns on boats - Trans-Asian Axis

See you there, if you have the nerve

Merry Christmas all.

Rick, It's a shame that there are those among us that don't seem to have the ability to carry on a debate without getting over emotional and resorting to name calling and insults.
For my part, I found your arguments persuasive and coherent. Thank you for attempting to shed some light and clarity on a very important topic.
Merry Christmas.
Steve

Merry Christmas, Steve.

I would ask that NO ONE post anything further in this regard here. IF you want to have the conversation, there's a place you can go to do it and you won't get banned (no matter which side of the conversation you're on) and I'd LOVE to hear from both sides.

Let's not further this debate here - as I've been asked to "stop".

Thanks all

Rick

One Note you all need to know, to post there, you must register. The site will ask for a "real first and last name"... you put whatever you like in there though (it doesn't HAVE to be your REAL name in other words).

Be warned - the site is full of data, open source intelligence and (gasp) politics and damned little about sailing, or going places.

The site is non-commercial (I think the owner might have some books up for sale or something, but nothing in regards to SAILING!) and we welcome everyone. Both sides of a conversation (in fact, encourage it) because neither side of an argument is ALWAYS right.
