Ebay sniper software?

Hey my dad was recently looking at something for the boat on ebay and we wont be home and near a computer at the end of the auction, then I found a website called bidninja that will snipe for you so you win the auction, does anyone have any experience with these and do they actually work????

bid ninja says...We are partnered with eBay and are paid directly by them. Our users never have to pay a single dime to use our service.

Is that true...sounds like a scam to me.

I'm not familiar with bidninja, but I sometimes use
ezsniper. I use it more for the ability to bid on multiple items, each contingent upon the previous. That way I can bid on multiple items I want one of, and as soon as I win one, it won't bid on any more of them. The price is reasonable at 1%, 10 cent min and $10 max, with no charge if you don't win. There's a subscription option with no per bid price that would be more economical if you do a lot of bidding.

I am on Ebay way to much. I have never used sniping soft whare. My advice is once you find something you like, do a ebay search for the same type of item you may find different prices for the same thing. Then do a google search for the item, you may find it cheaper at a regular price.
If you will not be sitting around for the end bid, remember nobody can snipe you if you have a high bid. If you really need it bid what you think it is worth. If you only bid your lowest price you probly will not get it. Some things that I find unique and I cant find it anywhere else I will pay more. Sometimes I have bid a premeion because I really needed the part and I did not want to call all over the country. If you bid high you will only pay a little more than the last high bid not your highest bid. Best advice, just bid what it is worth to you, if it goes over price, you did not get it but you did not want to pay that much anyway. Its not personel, its a thing and only worth what you want to pay. Just walk away. But ask lots of questions, check shipping. I have a ton of stuff that I thought would work and did not. If you are not positive it will work or fit, dont bid. I have found that sellers who dont include all needed info or a decent photo's or vauge on shipping or any info, tend to be hiding something. You cant tell what it is made of by a photo. I have gotten some great deals but some are not what I expected because I did not ask questions, If they dont answer dont bid. No matter what!!

AuctionSniper.com These guys have saved me tons of money and I have won auctions on very desirable equipment because my bid was place at last second or two. Ya true, some one could want it awfully bad and put in an absurd bid with epay's proxy bid but I don't pay silly prices, so let the fool have his win.

I never directed anything at you Bad Santa. My apologies if you took it that way. What I meant was if people who bid early thru ebay want to pay silly prices they can. I snipe to beat out the people who bid, and bid and bid on an item. I have no defense against the early high bidder.

Regards
michael

As I stated, I use EZsniper more for the ability to automatically bid on consecutive items until I win one at a price I want without having to be at my computer at the time of auction close than for the last second bid feature.
