How everyone doing in the HOT weather!

reading all these threads about cold weather & it seems a LOOONNGG way away from where I'm sitting. In Perth today the maximum temperature was 43 degrees C (109.4 F) There was a major fire in a local park and from the 19th floor we were watching aircraft and helicoptors water bombing the fire all day.

Seems it's either too bloody hot or too bloody cold! Is there anywhere where it's nice?

was 9* F this morning. Wind chill will put it in the negative teens, and I have a field inspection today. But honestly, I'd rather have that than 109* temps! You can always put on more clothes, but you can only take off so many (before you get arrested).

Well, it's going to be in the 40s and 50s in Colorado today.

Must be that damned "Globull Warming" or something.

(Ok - that's not C, that's F )

G'day Ilen! We've dipped into the low 8's (c) today in Texas. Of course, we'll be back up to the 20's by the weekend. Pretty nice around here if you ask me.

Sounds like an oven on your end of the globe! Pop another VB and enjoy! Cheers.

It has been in the mid to upper 80's in San Diego all week. There is a nice swell coming in this weekend that should bring 6' ~ 8' waves. Surf's up!! Sailing is awesome.

I'm in Buffalo, NY and I'm not sure what the temp actually is but it is cold enough to freeze the balls off of a brass monkey.

Well it's better today, 30 degrees C (86 degrees F). Took some disadvantaged kids for a sail today & they were sitting on deck wrapped in blankets! Still out on the ocean it was probably 20-25 degrees C less the wind chill factor.

Yesterday was way too hot.

Three days ago we set a new record of 9 degrees F for the high. Today it got to 51F. Got to love the sunny South!
