Yeah, that's deep. I think the cachelot dives that deep in search of giant squid, but I couldn't tell what type of whale it was.

Looked a bit like a blue whale to my untrained eye.

It did raise a couple questions...without the ROV lights how would it see anything?

You recon they have that fine of sonar?

Wonder if the lights attracted it.

Looks like it came close to the well head or whatever that was....I wonder if there is ever damage done by whales at depth?
