Telstar 28 Auction/Trade

After careful consideration, I guess I wouldn't mind owning a Telstar 28. I have a few uses in mind for it. Unfortunately, I am a bit low on cash. As such, I would like to work out a an open, and fair trade. To make sure it is completely fair to the (I mean any) Telstar 28 owner, I wanted to put it online and up for open bidding.

I will start the bidding. Others may join in - but only if your bid exceeds the previous bid. Those are the rules.

I offer this fine power cord. It is marine grade and of sturdy quality. It is 25' long. It is slightly used, as the picture will show.

I feel that is fine start.

At the risk of overpaying, I will up you:

One kg (2.2 lbs) bruce-style anchor, kind of cute. Will hold a small sailing dinghy.

Well, PARTS of a very nice seacock. Throw in a trailer and I'll throw in the rest of the seacock.

Fine... Fine...

Ok (clears throat). I was going to negotiate this with another member... but here goes. I offer this nostalgic, very experienced cleat... still facing the same direction I found it in (upside down) which makes it even more valueable. It is very high quality. Certainly worth more than a $25 flashlight.

You are going to have to find a way to get it off of that metal block. It kinda rusted onto the sunken ship I cut it from.

Beat that!!

In the upper left corner of this photo, you can see a bunch of wires hanging on the wall of our garage. That is a complete set of standing rigging for a Pacific Seacraft Dana 24. Upper and lower shrouds, backstay, bobstay, whisker stays, etc. It is used (replaced by all new), but the scrap value alone of all that stainless is going to push the price of this Telstar auction way beyond rational.

I take back my cleat offer. I feel I can get more value from Sailaway21. But... I haven't given up. I am going to pull out the big guns now!!

I offer this vintage, classic, Beirut Toilet. It is guaranteed to never stop up and will never require cleaning as long as your aim is good. Both men and women will find this both a amazing and simple to operate.

Gentlemen... The 1985 Model Beirut Toilet!

painkiller will become famous soon enough
I have no idea what this is, but I'm sure it's worth at least one Telstar.

Oh, Please. My Beirut Toilet is worth more than that!! Give me a break. We are bidding on a Telstar 28, Pain, not a Telstar 25. Get with the program.
