Cool, but keep in mind that according to the averages you'll be paying every penny you make from Jan 1 until somewhere in mid-May in THIS years taxes.

Should have put your money in the bank for 2 months and earned a little more interest on it.

Finished mine last Sunday, just need to mail it in. Turbo tax charges like $60 to file it for you. I think I can slap a stamp on an envelope for less than $60.

I always mail mine. Simply for the fact that only morons would spend millions on a study that showed the IRS would save tens of millions a year if more people would file electronicly, they would have then have a lot more data about the economy and taxes collected, all while being able to target audits more reliably increasing the odds of catching tax cheats with out bothering law abiding citizens, and getting a better return for they're enforcement dollar. So how do they try to encourage people to file electronicly instead, write a law that requires you to go through a third party, paying a fee of course, and not allow software engineers to write into they're programs a simple and effeicent standard for data tranfers directly to the IRS. Then pay these third parties, who are making plenty just for tranfering the data anyway, to tranfer the data for free if the person is below a certain income.

So screw them, they can pay someone to input less then half of my tax forms into they're database, you shouldn't reward morons, it only encourages them.

some congressman proposed a bill that would allow you to write the treasury secretary's name on your check and that would absolve you of interest or penalties!!!

I want ALL of congress and all of the administration to be audited.
