Nothing for me right now, C2. I'm about to explore the mysteries of the household water heater dip tube...some disassembly required. If it doesn't move, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway. Back later.

Where would we stay? The Marina? or .... "Captains Quarters" with the crazy (but totally cool) French lady????
Dad and i just got back from M&Ms... finally got my 1800 on the rocks. Last night we ate at the Silos (twin towers)... the pizza is good but i miss Scoots. Silos is great though.

As fer places to stay... Jayme and I can stay on our boat which leaves room for 6 or so in the house. Of course some folks may be able to stay on their own boat... (PB, Whampoa) Maybe some other options too like the marina if folks wanted to pay for their own room. One things fer sure... there's no lack of boats around here. At Last, Aria, Whampoa & probably some others i don't know about. If folks really wanted to go crazy we could charter through the Oriental School of Sailing: Charter a sailboat in Oriental, NC

Basically... we've got options and time to figure it out. Sounds like fun!

I all for an Oriental gathering. I can stay at Davis if the ferry runs all night. Does it Joel?

They've scaled back ferry service due to budget... check the schedule here. Looks like the last ferry back across is at 12:15am

btw- Still looking for that impeller... Jayme put it somewhere during a cleaning spree and she can't remember where. One of these days it will finally go in the mail.
