Retired in 2007 after 24 years in the Army. Service in many places around the world -- some good, some not so good. I've got waaaay more fond memories than regrets, so I'm a happy guy.

I remain humbled by the continued service to our country by the selfless, courageous, and dedicated professionals who wear our uniforms -- particularly at a time when the strains of their service are exceptionally severe. They will remain in my thoughts and have my enduring gratitude.

Uscg

Retired August 2008 after 33 years USCG. Seven years enlisted QM, made QMC at OCS, retired a Commander which is far more than I ever expected.
Loved (almost) every minute of it---SAR controller, buoy tender OPs Boss, patrol boat CO, ship transfer training officer for International Affairs, project officer for the Buoy Tender System Study, project officer for the new Great Lakes icebreaker MACKINAW, CG Intel liaison to DHS Intel.
Living aboard a Jeanneau 36i in San Diego. Life is good!
