There are lots of techno-types around here. I'm not one, but I do like to keep up.
In the quest for better batteries, one guy seems to be on to something. I didn't really understand everything he was saying, but I do understand that he is talking about the kind of battery that will provide backup to large cities. That way, we can use solar and wind, which are not constant sources of electricity.

Interesting stuff. And maybe it'll change the way we do things.
