The funny thing is that some one had to do the act first for them to even think about making a law against it. That makes it more bizarre.

In Virginia Beach:
1. It is illegal to throw a Frisbee or a football on the beach.
2. It is OK to walk down the street on the ocean side of Atlantic Ave without a shirt on, but if you cross the street it is illegal to go shirtless.

We have a bunch of laws on the books that go way back. They are not enforced but fun to read about.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

The Dakotan and Minnesota Depts of Health advising that is is illegal for private citizens to provide home cooked food for citizens filling and placing sandbags against the recent flooding. Only commercially prepared or food in its original store bought container is legal to be served. Laugh? Your state probably has the same stupid law. Some states have tried to regulate church potlucks under the same laws.
