On a day like this it is a time of remembrance. Even in wars that have no redeeming feature good people die, good people are maimed, good people's families are rent asunder, good people have their live's, their hopes, their dreams destroyed.

I am grateful to all the women and men who have served in this country's endless wars. I am grateful to the women and men, and especially their families, who lost their lives, their limbs or suffered or continue to suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome PTSS.
I remember my lost ones with love and gratitude for all they gave to me and to our country.
My deepest prayer is for sustainable peace in my lifetime and for all generations.
Blessings to our warriors on this Memorial Day. May this be the century we learn to wage peace.
