How was your Spring!

Thanks for asking. Our Spring sucked! It has rained the last 17 out of 21 days. The rain total average for June in our area is 3 1/2 inches. As of today we are over 8+ inches.

I hope our summer is better!

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Same here as far as wet goes. Hasn't been too cold but I don't think we've had more than two sunny days in a row all spring.

Overall though, it's been nice, much better than snow!

Ken.

I cant get the teak finished, or anything that requires dry time. I was amazed that last Monday I was able to steam clean all the cushions, let them dry in the SUN, and treat them before the rain came...of course I didn't eat breakfast or lunch at all followed by a late dinner.

Thanks for asking

Our area forecast for my next available sailing day is 102F and breeze at 2-5mph. 10 days before the next break of 94F. Humidity is hovering at 60-70. Don't wish too much for summer...................

I too was disapointed in Spring; cold, late launch, wet, etc. Than I checked our log and we have logged over three hundred miles, I was pleasantly surprised by that.

Here in the Wet Coast we had a very coolish early spring after an unusually cold and snowy (for us) winter.

However June has been one of the driest and warmest on record - and we've really been enjoying it. Does make me worry about July/August though.....
