Trouble posting Sailnet Profile Picture

Okay, so i'm actually going to do it -- add a profile picture.

Unfortunately, sailnet.com doesn't seem to like the 76kb .png I'm keep trying to post via the sailnet Edit Profile Picture function. I actually see the photo in my web browser within the Edit Profile Picture user interface, but once I click "Save Changes", it just doesn't stick, and I continue to get zero profile pictures when I post to the forum.

I'm on a Mac, tried both Safari and Firefox, using a .png file format.

Any recommendations?

Use a photo editing program and just resize the picture and start over.

yes, using photoshop (rather proficiently). In addition to the .png, I tried a .jpg, 16kb, and the size is at 125x94 pixels. The instructions state that the file needs to be the following: "The maximum size of your custom image is 640 by 480 pixels or 64.0 KB (whichever is smaller)". My image is both under 640x480 and below 64kb.
It seems that it's some other issue, but it's not worth the digging to figure out what the issue is. Thank you for your reply.
