Les Paul - RIP

Sorry to hear that LP passed away on thursday. Rock and rock would not be same without him.

He was a true pioneer and did in fact change the whole course of popular music.
I just wish that his passing would get a fraction of the attention that a certain overrated, mentally confused, surgically altered freak has been getting.
Not likely though.

Sorry to here of this..he was truly a Titian.

Have Always wanted one of his guitars...not that I can play worth squat and bring any dignity to it...But like all Artists work they go up in value by the cube from the time of their passing...probably little chance of that happening now.

As far as the fan fair missed upon his passing....I'm guessing he was a fairly humble man..Humility dosent get notoriety but it does get true and loyal friendships...he did not die a lonely and tormented man I would bet my reputation on that.

The purchase price of a boat is just the admittance fee to the dance...you still have to spend money on the girl...so court one with something going for her with pleasing and desirable character traits others desire as well... or you could find yourself in a disillusioned relationship contemplating an expensive divorce.
