I had already formed an opinion of this piece of human debris, but watching his interview on 60 Minutes tonight reinforced it.

He says that football isn't important to him. “It don’t matter,” Vick said. “I deserved to lose that because of what I was doing.”

He said he had a revelation while in prison and that he was disgusted by what he did. He even has agreed to speak to groups of kids to encourage them to love and care for their animals.

Bullsh!t..... Let him donate at least half of his salary for the rest of his NFL career and then I might start to believe that he has had a change of heart.

Until then, he will remain a hypocritical, lying scumbag.

As much respect as I have for Dungy, he is being hoodwinked by this pile of dung.

"How do you justify" Easy, some sucker is willing to pay a grand to buy a seat on the 50 yard line and watch some cowards go crash heads without hatchets.

I say give 'em all hatchets, play real bloodball, make the fans happy, and the one surviving team at the end of the season gets to keep it all.

Then, at least the contestants will all be willing players and no one will bother the dogs. And the winner will have EARNED his millions.

What he did was inexcusable. What is equally dysfunctional is how some people get so indignant about animal cruelty yet remain totally silent every time they read about genocide. Makes me wonder what some consider really important.

Knothead, I agree with you 100%. Vick is a poor excuse for a human being. I usually watch 60 Minutes, but when I saw that they were interviewing him, I changed the channel. Why give this guy the chance to speak on tv?

Also, with the Eagles signing him, it shows us where they stand on animal cruelty. I hope PETA and the local animal right fondations make a scene during the football season. Protest, protest protest. Them signing a convict is inexcusable. They are as guilty as him. I would love to see him get hurt and suffer. He's a coward.
