During his weeks of treatment, we had a giant get together at the La Costa resort. Hundreds of forum members attended from around the world, just to meet him in person and bring the love. We all had name tags with our forum "handles" printed on them and the whole night was a series of "Wow, so YOUR "LondonJoe", etc. It was an unforgettable time and an example of how these internet forums can be a source of meaningful real life friendships.
