Full glass, farting, fortune, felicity, feathers flying, furry friends, felines of all types, fractals, fair leads, flying jibs, foul weather gear, the four winds, flat seas and fair winds. Face it there is a lot to be thankful for from the letter 'F'.
Some words that are not so fortuitous that are also brought to you by the letter 'F': flatulence, fouled, fair weather friend, phlebotomy, firing squad and just plain fired. If you can figure out where you stand on the letter 'F' perhaps you can find a fortuitous finishing point (I'm still looking for one).
I am thankful that there is this this forum of fathers and fools that has helped more then just me.

I have soooo much to be thankful for it's hard to know where to start. I have a loving and understanding wife, the best dog in the world, wonderful friends and family and a great job. In spite of a distinct lack of maintenance and years of abuse I still have fantastic health.
I can still do this:
This:
And this:
Life is good.

I am thankful that my wife is American and I am Canadian which means two Turkey days Gonna avoid a scale until the new year though. But most of all my two Grandchildren. I often try to explain the different feeling you have for Grandchildren to folks without them this way. With my kids I would kill to protect them but with my Grandchildren I would wipe out whole civilizations to protect them. The feeling is a scale and magnitude beyond normal that I would not have believed before.
