Recently, the first president of the European Union, Herman Van Rompuy, affirmed in a speech captured by the BBC his belief that "2009 is the first year of global governance with the establishment of the G20 in the middle of the financial crisis. The climate conference in Copenhagen is another step toward the global management of our planet."

Lord Christopher Monckton, a former science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, asserts the real purpose of the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen Dec. 7-18 is to use concern over "global warming" as a pretext to lay the foundation for a one-world government.

At the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen "this December, weeks away, a treaty will be signed," Monckton told a Minnesota Free Market Institute audience at Bethel University in St. Paul.

Monckton warned that President Obama supports the idea and is ready to sign on the dotted line.

"Your president will sign it," he said. "Most of the Third World countries will sign it, because they think they're going to get money out of it. Most of the left-wing regimes from the European Union will rubber-stamp it. Virtually nobody won't sign it. I read that treaty and what it says is this: that a world government is going to be created. The word 'government' actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity."

He has warned the proposal would cede U.S. sovereignty, mandate a massive wealth transfer from the United States to pay reparations for "climate debt" to Third World countries and create a new "world government" to enforce the treaty's provisions.

Meanwhile, in recent days, as WND reported, documents and e-mails retrieved by a computer hacker from the University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit indicate top climate-change scientists have manipulated data to hide cooling trends and worked together to marginalize scientists with opposing views.

The U.S. Senate's leading global-warming skeptic says he plans to demand an investigation into the allegedly fraudulent data manipulation unveiled at the highly influential British research center.

Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., said he knew scientists were "cooking" information years ago. The e-mails, he said, were the proof, and now something needs to be done.

"It is pretty serious," Inhofe said. "And since, you know, Barbara Boxer is the chairman and I'm the ranking member on Environment and Public Works, if nothing happens in the next seven days when we go back into session a week from today that would change this situation, I will call for an investigation."

Inhofe said he would ask for an investigation into the United Nations and its climate-change committee "on the way they cooked the science to make this thing look as if the science was settled, when all the time of course we knew it was not."

When I first heard that I wondered if it was faked...it isn't he said that. Then I wondered if he was "mis-speaking" but apparently not.

Europe likes the idea, even though it means giving up control of their own countries. I have no idea why people would do such a thing particularly since it is so clear that many nations have made it clear they will get revenge and of course money.

I notice that he is also telling people the world will end if we do not give up our countries. That has worked in the past, people have given everything to the Church to be saved from something equally questionable....and BTW didn't happen to them.

Well in order to get the world united into one accord into order, the world of course needs a reason to comply, what better reason than a common enemy, CO2 now according to the doctored data is humanities biggest threat and With America creating 25% of the world's CO2, with only 5% of the population, you get a 2 for one...

It never ceases to amaze me how liberal audacity in control of science, insists on dismissing facts that contradict their interpretations, interpretations they not onlly acknowledge as theories but fact.

They have gotten away with it in regards to global warming, and they have goten away with it in regards to evolution. In their attempt to dismiss the probability of a supernatural creator inspite of the fact that it is crystal clear that our natural world this 3 dimensional confine is actually a member of an even larger reality with many more dimensions than we possess in the natural.

There is the natural, and then there is the Super Natural from which everything that makes up are existence emerges from according the most sophisticated mathematical equations on the planet.

Thing is however, the supernatural model does not fit the evolutionary natural model or liberal intent that poses our existence as nothing special in an attempt to devalue our existence and any notion of the Super Natural.

Atheist author Richard Dawkins has made it loud and clear that he believes faith has no place in science and that a public debate between him and a creationist – of any type – is out of the question.

“The objection to having debates with people like that (creationists) is that it gives them a kind of respectability,” Dawkins said during a recent appearance on the Michael Medved show.

“If a real scientist goes onto a debating platform with a creationist, it gives them a respectability, which I do not think your people have earned,”

It is funny how "the faith" in the supernatural is dismissed with people who hold "The faith" in the natural, both of course are basing thier interpretations on the fact's, however it seems there are those in science who hold the faith of the natural who choose to dismiss fact's revealing not only the existence but the necessity of the supernatural.

Environmentalism should be regarded on the same level with religion "as the only compelling, value-based narrative available to humanity," according to a paper written two years ago to influence the future strategy of the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP)...

The positions argued in that paper now appear to be much closer at hand; many of them are embedded in a four-year strategy document for UNEP taking effect next year, in the immediate wake of the much-touted, 11-day Copenhagen conference on "climate change," which starts on Dec. 7, and which is intended to push environmental concerns to a new crescendo...

Another important attendee was John Scanlon, listed on UNEP's website as principal advisor to UNEP's Steiner. Among other things, Scanlon is credited in his UNEP biography with being the leader in developing UNEP's new medium-term strategy, "Environment for Development," covering the period from 2010 to 2013. The draft version of the strategy was presented to a UNEP's Governing Council and a meeting of the world's environmental minister's in February 2008, and subsequently approved.

The Swiss paper was written not by Scanlon but by Mark Halle, the Europe-based director of trade and investment for an influential environmental think-tank, the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), which originated in Canada and now operates in some 30 countries. IISD, which still has heavy Canadian government support, bills itself as a research institute promoting policies that are "simultaneously beneficial to the global economy, the global environment and to social well-being."

...But UNEP's strategic plan, as well as the IISD document that grew out of the Swiss gathering, look well beyond the horizon of Copenhagen in suggesting the outlines of the world's environment-centered future, to what the strategic plan calls "the next phase in the evolution of UNEP."

Among other things, both documents argue for...

—a major restructuring of international institutions to merge environmental issues with economics as the central priority...

—new environmental rules, regulations and standards, and the linking of existing environmental agreements, in a stronger global lattice-work of environmental law, with stronger authority to command national governments...

The UNEP four-year strategy puts it more obliquely, and only in a footnote on page 7 of the document: "UNEP will actively participate in the continuing international environmental governance discussions both within and outside the United Nations system, noting the repeated calls to strengthen UNEP, including its financial base, and the 'evolutionary nature of strengthening international environmental governance.'"

—an extensive propagandizing role for UNEP that reaches beyond its member governments and traditional environmental institutions to "children and youth" as well as business and political groups, to support UNEP strategic objectives...

At the same time the paper warns that these groups need to be "harnessed to the UNEP mission without appearing to make an end-run around the member governments."

The official four-year plan uses more restrained language in declaring that "civil society, including children and youth, and the private sector will be reached through tailor-made outreach products and campaigns.... Civil society will also be engaged to assist with UNEP outreach efforts." (The term "civil society," as used by the U.N., usually refers to organizations and associations that have received formal recognition from one branch or another of the sprawling world organization.)

—along with increased political leverage for UNEP, bringing increased financial leverage to its cause, once again by reaching beyond the national environmental ministries that traditionally are the organization's financial base to more powerful sectors of government as well as business and other interest groups that will see profit and advantage in the new, environment centered approach.

Says the Swiss paper: "UNEP must focus on priorities that meet two characteristics: they should appeal to the more powerful [government] ministers responsible for economic policy; and they should empower environmental ministers at the cabinet table. UNEP's message is not for environment ministers — the already converted.... It must aim higher."

—Perhaps the most important function both documents see for the newly enhanced UNEP is to seek influence as the world's guiding arbiter of a new measurement of human development. "We believe the environmental argument should be recast in terms of its importance for and potential contribution to prosperity, stability and equity," the Swiss paper argues...

According to Halle, however, in an e-mail exchange with Fox News, there are signs that the hugely ambitious role he and his fellow-thinkers sketched for UNEP as religion's main competitor are "beginning to happen." Halle pointed to UNEP's espousal this year of a so-called Green Economy Initiative, a proposal to radically redesign the global economy and transfer trillions of dollars in investment to the world's poorest developing countries...

At midnight last night, the United Kingdom ceased to be a sovereign state

We woke up in a different country today. Alright, it doesn’t look very different. The trees still seem black against the winter sun; the motorways continue to jam inexplicably; commuters carry on avoiding eye contact. But Britain is no longer a sovereign nation. At midnight last night, we ceased to be an independent state, bound by international treaties to other independent states, and became instead a subordinate unit within a European state.

Yes, a European state. Take a quick dekko at the definition set out in Article One of the 1933 Montevideo Convention on the Rights and Duties of States: “The state as a person of international law should possess the following qualifications: (a) a permanent population; (b) a defined territory; (c) government; and (d) capacity to enter into relations with the other states.”

Until yesterday, the EU qualified on grounds (a), (b) and (c). Now it has ticked the final box. Under the Lisbon Treaty, which came into force today, it acquires “legal personality”, which gives it the right to sign accords and treat with other states. Nor is this right simply theoretical: the EU now has a foreign minister, a diplomatic corps (the European External Action Service) and 160 overseas embassies.

Until yesterday, the EU could not annex additional policy areas without a new treaty, which needed to be ratified by all its constituent nations. Now, it has the so-called “passerelle” clause, or self-amending mechanism. Parliament, in other words, no longer has the final say on extensions of EU jurisdiction. The EU derives its authority, not from its 27 members, but from its own foundational texts.

-Until yesterday, Britain could simply walk out of the EU by abrogating the Treaty of Rome and repealing the 1972 European Communities Act. Henceforth, it will have to go through the secession procedure laid down in Lisbon. In other words – in the minds of Euro-lawyers, at any rate, if not of British constitutionalists – the EU gets to settle the terms on which its members are allowed to leave. Formal sovereignty has been shifted from the national capitals to Brussels.

It is appalling, demeaning, disgraceful that such a thing should have been done without popular consent, and in the absence of the referendum that all three parties had promised. “There’s no point in crying over spilt milk,” you might say. True. But there is every point in mopping it up.

So the UK has turned its back on being a participant and player in the World, to become a jumped local council in the State of Europe.

It happened with the full connivance of our elected members of what was once our government in Westminster.

Why does it matter, it ends democracy in the UK – UK citizens can no longer select who will stand to represent them in government. The EU sponsors only those they see as qualified members of the Political Class and it is the Political Class that will allow you to vote for a member of their Political List.

It ends the idea that in a democracy it is the People that lend its representatives powers to govern; from now on the EU is supreme and only permits its People rights. We have gone from everything was legal were no law was in place to outlaw it, to a position that everything is unlawful unless the Political Class permit it.

It takes a while to get ones head around the subtle difference, but in essence any suggest of personnel freedoms’ have been replaced by total rule by the Political Class – our new Baronial Lords.

The fundamentals of true Democracy in the EU have always been based on an interpretation by the Political Class that forever and a day will exclude its People.

There is only one true interpretation of Democracy – Government for the People by the People. It has never existed in the EU. The Political Class that run the EU are inherently afraid of its People.

The Foreign Ministry warned Tuesday morning that a Swedish-led attempt to have the European Union recognize eastern Jerusalem as the capital of the Palestinian Authority will backfire.

The draft proposal, expected to be placed on the EU table next week, would damage efforts to reach peace with the PA and damage the EU’s standing as a trusted entity, ministry spokesman Yossi Levy said. “The Europeans must pressure the Palestinians to return to the negotiating table," he added. "Such moves like the one being led by Sweden lead to the opposite outcome."

The Swedish proposal also omits any recognition of the rest of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel...

The draft proposal of the EU will include its readiness to recognize the PA as a “democratic” and independent entity if PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas carries out his plan to unilaterally declare statehood. Abbas has asked the United Nations to recognize the PA as an independent state based on the 1949-1967 borders of Israel, a move which in effect destroys the Roadmap plan and American efforts for a negotiated agreement with Israel.

Who's to say when these things start and end, to go as far as making us responsible for them well, I think Obama said it best regarding his take of when a fetus assumes it's humanity, he claimed that the answer to that is clearly above his pay grade, considering the fact that God is the only one who could make that call without any ambiguity whatsoever when the life form actually emerges from cell's into a human.

That's the rub, there is too much ambiguity in the data regarding humans influence on climate change, the warming trend that took us from being in the cooling trend of the little ice age, we are still in it, the cooling trend lasted 2 centuries from 1650 to 1850, now wouldn't you naturally presume that the heating trend we are in could last at least that long with spikes of cooling trends emerging like the warming trends did during the little ice age human’s experienced?

"Climate Change," a term coined by the lexicon in the propagandist campaign aimed to politically spin constants of change in the climate to being the result of mans detriment influence. The caveat of this dastardly lofty claim, is that the joke of this laughable absurdity is indeed on humanity.

It is suggested that Stonehenge which as it turns out is a nuclear clock/calendar, was used by elitist ancestors as a tool in "order" to bring their followers into subjection by prophesying future events such as an eclipse for example to make it appear as it they where the ones who were actually causing it, by doing nothing more than acknowledging the reoccurring theme of the constancy of change in the reoccurring celestial patterns.

How is what our leaders are doing now in any way different than what they were allegedly doing then? Considering the aim of such attempts is to bring us into conviction to their dubious claims in "order" to tax us even further than we already are; even to the point of being slaves chained to the burden and yoke of oppression in "order" to make reparations for allegedly changing something that was already in a constant state of change.


You do realize that for such a dubious claim to obtain any merit at all, especially in light of the sun being as over active as it has been during this period, one would indeed need to prove what the climate would be like had the heat of mans not had any influence on it whatsoever.

How can we know we changed the climate when we don't a clue as to what it would have been with out our presence? We can't just look back at what it was in the past and say it is not what it was then so we must be changing it, while simultaneously ignoring the fact it is in a constant state of change.

A document from the OECD Trade Committee reached the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor a few days ago; it includes questions about Israel's ideas on intellectual property.

Behind these questions lies a battle for business worth billions of dollars annually; between makers of branded pharmaceuticals and Israeli generics companies, led by Teva.

The questions are a diplomatic way of wording the demands OECD countries have of Israel - they want Israel to push through legislation or regulations that would extend the terms of patents belonging to foreign makers of branded drugs.

Such an extension would mean that branded companies would enjoy the sole right to sell a product, while Teva and other generics companies would be kept out of the market for as long as possible. As a result, of course, the profits of proprietary firms would increase at the expense of generics companies.

But the Israeli government would pay a price as well: Branded drugs are far more expensive than generic ones, forcing the treasury to finance a more expensive basket of products for Israel's Health Maintenance Organizations.

"I'm not against joining the OECD, but Israeli generics must be allowed to flourish," Chaim Hurvitz, Teva senior vice president and chairman of the pharmaceutical arm of the Manufacturers Association, told TheMarker yesterday. "The basic demands of the Americans and Europeans are draconian. If we sell out cheaply now, we will find ourselves badly hurt later on."

...Sources in Jerusalem say the proprietary companies want to take advantage of Israel's desire to join the OECD by pressuring the United States and European Union to demand what they have failed to obtain by other means in recent years.
