my wife won a cooking competition

well more of a baking comp, as i have posted she is in school for pastry chef. well the school held a holiday competition for ginger bread houses. she and her partner won first place.

to tell you what type of competition she had, over half of the entries where by students who have taken a show piece class. what show piece means is they learned to make show pieces for competitions or display, my wife has not taken the class yet but they still won first.

enough of me talking them up, here are some pics. my wife is on the right

Cool..and Congrats to her!

Mine took a cake decorating class a few years back and had a blast...I wouldn't eat any of the hard flowers on any cake ever again though... some of them she reused for over several months...YUK! and still has some of her originals in a fishing tackle box somewhere all these years later..Double YUK!
