this happened a mile behind my house over the weekend. chilling, knowing sick individuals like this exist:

DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. -- Officials in Dawson County found a second body in the Amicalola River Monday morning believed to be the husband of a woman found nearby on Sunday. Deputies arrested the woman's stepfather Sunday in connection with her slaying.

Authorities discovered the body they suspect is Paul Budrawich after a search along Amicalola River Road. The second body was about 500 yards from where the body of Jennifer Budrawich was found Sunday, according to deputies.

Investigators said Jennifer Budrawich made a chilling 911 call one day before she was discovered dead in the river.

Authorities on Sunday charged Jennifer Budrawich's stepfather, Jesse James Kilgore, with her murder. Kilgore is also the father of one of Budrawich's children.

Video of two men abandoning the Budrawich's car led them to Kilgore, according to investigators.

Officials also charged 27-year-old Benjamin Kelly Mullinax with tampering with evidence.

On the 911 call Jennifer Budrawich can be heard crying out, "Why are you shooting us? Why did you bring me down here to the river?"

"It was chilling for us to not only hear that, but know that our search area was so wide in Dawson County," said Tony Wooten with the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators said Jennifer and Paul Budrawich went to Dawson County Friday to visit her children, who are in the custody of relatives.

"They would come up every other weekend and visit their kids … and the 911 call came an hour and a half before that visitation was scheduled," said Wooten.

Investigators located the couple's car early Sunday morning in Pickens County. They said they found clues inside the vehicle that helped narrow the search area.

Then late Sunday afternoon, authorities said they found Jennifer Budrawich's body in a local river, but wouldn’t release the exact location.
