I had an Idea for a rubber band drive. Remove the engine.. stretch truck tire rubber bands in a LONG tunnel in the bilge of a boat.. then have a wind driven propeller with a shaft and a couple sets of bevel gears .. to a flywheel to help twist the bands... Eh.. I need to go sailing and it's still at least 2 months! EEK! I'm loosing it!

My son swears it got down to 70 deg. a couple nights ago. I didn't see the thermometer, but I believe him. We had to shut at least one of the patio sliders and I have noticed louvers cranked down a bit more than usual.

Going out to dinner last night I chose a clean t-shirt and actually picked one specifically without any major holes that might expose bare skin to the night air.

Yep. winter is here.
