I inherited a son-in-law today
Yep, my baby girl is now married, tomorrow we have a major blowout reception and Sunday night she flies to her new home & life in Colorado ( Fort Carson ) Garrett is a specialist in the Army who returned safely in 09 from Iraq and in 2011 gets redeployed to Afganistan.

I'm happy as hell for them, but the SOB is taking my little girl and sometimes I just want to poke him in the eye...............is that a normal reaction ??

good on ya, poopy. it's only natural you want the best fer yer little girl. i told my son in law "what ever you do to her, i'm doin to you". they get along just fine..........

look at the bright side, soon you'll be a "granpappy"..............

Heck, I'm having a hard time dealing with my 16 year old daughter having a boyfriend for over two months. I don't want to even think about wedding day!

Congrats!

Having married off two daughters and a son, getting one great son-in-law, and a great DIL, I know your concerns!

Now, my only concern is getting rid of the 28 yr old stepson who has absolutely no motivation in life.
