Talking Transfer a full Margarita boat to boat.

While watching one of the girls on my boat last season trying to do this last year. I realized a number of things need to happen for this boat to boat transfer to happen and still have a "safe" margarita arrive in the hand of the receiver.

requirements:
1, the lady passing the drink should be able to hold on to the boat with her feet!
2, She must have good secondary stability....
3, The receiver of the beverage would need about the same skills.
4, The helms-person on both boats must have the abilities and experience for doing such maneuvers.
5, Helms-person must me sober! (uncontrolled laughter is permissible)

Safety issues:
1, Drink must be in a plastic type of margarita glass.
2, The passer and receiver must not have one hand on the rub rails should the boats nudge each other.
3, Spilled margarita, while not a bio hazard should be contained at all costs!
4, The lady passing the drink should not be braless!

concerns:
1, the word may get out that a sailboat full of ladies is passing out drinks!
2, Bigger and faster boats will come seeking said boat!
3, The social gap between sail boaters and power boaters may get smaller.
4, traffic slow down in shipping channels may cause problems with barges and tugs as they line up to get a drink also?
5 Never offer a beverage to a CG boat crew!

Please do add or delete the information here so our future efforts to have fun safely on the water can improve! If you take this thread seriously, sorry, don't know how you could! Please do not try this maneuver without proper training, or in adverse conditions!

Thank you for your continued effort to reduce beer consumption on our water ways!

+20

The only change I would suggest is that all participants should remove all clothing in order to reduce the risk to their clothing in case of spillage.

The safest way to transfer a margarita from one boat to another is to empty the contents of the glass into your stomach prior to transfer, thus, you eliminate any concerns about spillage and you show up with an empty glass, which, etiquette dictates, will be promptly refilled.

Win-win.

Sure for you it is a win win, but what about those of us who wanted to see half naked ladies passing adult beverages back and forth.

dude, by pre-drinking, prior to moving from boat to boat, they imbibe twice as many in the same length of time, which means the chances of FULL nudity are much much higher. But hey, do it your way.

Hmm, I have to say you make an excellent point. I am on board with your proposal now. Of course if you use your motor at all during the maneuvering, you are not a real sailor.... oh wait, wrong thread.

Denise- you missed one important point.

6. This maneuver should be practiced regularly.

The lady dancing on the bow is not involved with ship to ship maneuvers in anyway!

Gentlemen.. your suggestions will be taken under consideration on our very next ladies cruise!
