Save the Mexican Gulf Marine Wildlife

Save the Mexican Gulf Marine Wildlife-Latest News is that the Containment Dome was a fail, Oil still filling the Mexican Gulf ocean for 20 days after explosive leak started on the 20th of April, 2010, the leak could continue for another 60 to 90 days, then with Hurricane Season on the way.

The Gulf oil spill with its 200,000+ barrels of oil a day left to just pour out into the Caribbean Ocean has caused irreversible damage to the already highly endangered mangroves that grow along the Caribbean coastlines. The unfathomable depths at which this spill will wipe out thousands of species of marine biodiversity will be a marine genocide, this will possibly become the largest caused by anthropogenic activities and the largest death toll on Marine Biodiversity ever seen. The effects on migratory birds, island ecology and marine mammals, such as dolphins, whales, blue and yellow fin tuna fish, in addition to other valuable sea life such as the rare critically endangered sea turtles and manatee, are all being destroyed. Valuable fish stocks and natural ecological food chains will all be detrimentally affected that many rare sea animals depend on, the oxygen depletion, the pollution, not to mention the impact on human health to people living in the affected areas, especially the rural people whose livelihoods depend on fishing in the Caribbean.

This is a clean up job worth millions but we will be doing it on very little, we are in the process of collecting as many contacts and resources that can take part in this clean up process over the next months so please contact us below so we can create a network of support for this overwhelming clean up job:

* We require volunteers to help the long process to clean up and restore the worst damage done in marine biological history.
* We need help such as space, resources and equipment with cleaning and saving marine wildlife over the coming months, this is a long term operation.
* We need help for allocated space and clean up facilities for the animals that are rescued.
* We will see a large amount of marine biodiversity destroyed but we will save what wildlife we can. To start this process surveying and tagging some rescued animals may be necessary as well as implementing wildlife surveys, which we need help with.
* We are implementing projects to facilitate all these requirements. i am working on correlating a database to assist our project. Those of you that can help by providing contacts, loaned equipment, donated resources, volunteers, coastline facilities that has appropriate space, available yachts and people to join in please contact me for Save our Seas Program or leave details of resources so we can create a community network operation.

Again, where are the facts to support the "irreversible damage to the already highly endangered mangroves that grow along the Caribbean coastlines. The unfathomable depths at which this spill will wipe out thousands of species of marine biodiversity"

This is in the Gulf of Mexico,

the thing that upsets me the most about is think of all the sea creatures that will die a useless death. we need to get all the gulf fisherman out there with nets and hooks and catch all the seafood. then i will eat as much of it as i can, as i am sure lots of other folks will too.

this idea solves many problems, one the fish will not just die they will die for a good cause... world hunger. two the decaying fish wont cause algae blooms and other things that raise havoc with the oceans. three by doing all this fishing the gulf fisherman will be able to set aside some money to help them get thru the years that the gulf will need to recover.

of coarse the pay for the fisherman will have to come from the fed gov, so we just need to lower welfare payments to non fisherman about 15 % so we can afford to pay the fisherman. i mean after all its only fair for those who get help from the .gov, give some help to those trying to help the gulf, and in return they can get some seafood too, this should offset the loose of 15 % of their .gov checks.

next we need all band together and cut down of our use of dawn detergent and donate what we can to help the clean up. now we need volunteers to help with the clean up, but i say we bring back all of the people who left new olreans after katrina and let them help. we will give them housing and food, and all we ask is 8 hours a day of honest work ( we gave them food and housing for years already ) in the clean up help. imagine how good it will make them feel to help clean up what was once the city they lived in ( or still do if they never left )

the things left to do is to fine BP, you know the company who makes many times less per gallon of gas than the states and fed gov due in taxes.

now we also need to look at why we are drilling in a mile of water when all that easy to get oil in places where it is shallow or on land is just waiting.

Real?

I'm withholding judgement on this group but with their use hyperbole and somewhat amateurish websites, it does make one wonder how legit they are.

That may not be fair but they seem to need a better web designer that could get their message out. It seems very confused after reading some of their corporate links.

I would want references of recognized aid agencies etc.
