"Back" Button on Web Browser

Has anyone else begun to experience difficulty using their "back" button to navigate through the forums? I use Windows Explorer 7.0 and started having problems about a week ago.

Thanks.

Hi 14432,

"Windows Explorer" is not a browser, it is used for navigating the file structure of your Windows operating system, so I'll assume you meant "Internet Explorer".

First, to answer your question. No, no troubles here.

I hate to harp on this, but the first thing you should do is switch to another browswer. For the safety and security of your system, and a much better online experience, there are several browsers that are available to you. Firefox, Google Chrome, and Opera are three solid browsers that are IMO far better and more secure than IE. Pick one (I recommend Firefox from Mozilla | Firefox web browser & Thunderbird email client), download it, install it, and lose many of the frustrations of surfing the web with IE.

I'm a web developer with many years of experience dealing with browser issues, and single-handedly, this is the easiest thing you can do to improve your online experience and system security (since IE has MANY vulnerabilities that can compromise the integrity of your OS).

Good luck!

Cheers, Russ

The PC I use at home is my employers as well. More to the point, I enjoy SN along with many other forums. On other forums I don't have issues with utlilizing the back button or slow page loads like I do here. This issue was covered in this thread last week here http://www.sailnet.com/forums/announ...ny-reason.html

Still waiting for the fix to be implemented by the Admin. It is hard for me to complain too much about a site that is free for me to use.

Sorry about my misplaced rant, I hadn't (and still haven't) experienced any problems with the back button, so I automatically assumed it was an IE problem. My bad.
