Sailnet Forums slowing down again?

Has anyone else noticed diminished performance on the Sailnet forums recently? Things got better awhile back, but recently have slowed significantly and seems to get hung up loading ads (which incidentally *seem* to have increased, though I wouldn't have noticed if their wasn't the performance problem).

Yes, I work on a Mac and it is now incredibly slow to load any of the pages in the forums. Even the articles are slow to load. Last week the site was running well.

I too, am on a MAC, and often get dozens of box_php errors as the ads are loading...not seeing that on other sites....

and yes just loading the new posts (35-40) takes often takes over a minute...where it used to be instant

It varies from day to day. Why, I have no real idea.

Last week, for me, the site was lightning fast. Yesterday slower than an escargot. Today, average. Coudl be faster but not too bad.

Oh, and I don't have ADBlock running on Sailnet. If I activate it , I don't see any major difference in speed.

I use Firefox on a Mac and installed ADBlock add-in which really helped pick up the response time for me. I had to add 'app.serviceengine.com' to the list and now it is quite fast, fewer adds too.
