Yeah, eh?

And so we did.. back at you Jack. We had planned an outing to Howe Sound but the forecast was so gloomy with gales that in the end we did it at home.... and then today was a gorgeous mild day after all, despite torrential rains overnight and elsewhere.

Leftovers for dinner tonite (we did the main deal yesterday..) Just as good 2nd time.

I was out from Sept 27 - Oct 3. Great wind the first day - broad reach from Nanaimo to Pender Harbour, then very light for the rest of the trip. Did get up to Octopus Islands via Hole in the Wall. There was a whole whack of logs in Calm Channel. I think that high tides and strong winds must have contributed to the lumber.

Next trip is a an Instructor's course in Sidney at the beginning of November.

Off to the in-laws for turkey tomorrow.

Thanks Jack,

We'll enjoy our Thanksgiving, even though we haven't been able to find a turkey here in Peru. Instead, we have some wonderful jumbo prawns for this evening; the tails are about 20cm long, so they will pass for drumsticks.

And a very happy Thanksgiving to all.
