RAGNAR will become famous soon enough
All of a sudden I see a dozen of them a day here in NYC. I'm guessing they're on clearance, as there's a new model due. (Maybe they'll get rid of the leaf springs out back . . . )

I've heard it's a reliable vehicle. I've also heard that it's top heavy, but my guess would be that people complaining about that don't believe in taking center of gravity into account . . . What I love is the hose-it-out interior option, which should be offered on every SUV and pick-up (there ought to be a law . . .)

I hope this helps.

PS I've never heard anyone complain either about the torque of reliability of Nissan V6s (in its street form the engine dominates the Best Engine of the Year thing.)

as stated the CG is too high, but they will run forever. i guess as you want the 2wd the high CH wont matter as much, why do you want the 2wd?

Must have been something wrong with yours. I used mine for 125k miles hauling boats, logging , off roading , [pulled out many others who got stuck where it didn't] etc... I only got rid of it because the warranty ran out. I replaced it with a 2002 Land Rover , since I already had a 96 Discovery. Big mistake, I wish I had my Exterra back, as the 02 is not as reliable as the 96 or the Exterra.

It was homemade. We had to have somewhere accessible to hide the bottles of beer , so my wife would think we were "working".
