Looking for history on my boat
I recently purchased my boat, a 1981 alberto dacosta 56ft ketch, designed by Bruce Roberts and and built in south africa, from the floor boards of an old super market (or so Im told) her original name was Bonjez, and then it was changed to Perfect Ride, she is rumered to have a sister ship by the name of Lady Ghee (not sure of the spelling) that ran aground on a reef at 11 knots and backed off and sailed away with little damage. These boats have sailed the Virgin Islands, And a man named Ivan was the second owner of Bonjez.
