Remember that UK woman last month in Tenerife? She was stabbed repeatedly then the guy cut off her head. All this was done in daylight at a busy location with lots of witnesses. I honestly can say with 100% conviction that if I were there she would be alive today. I may not be however she would. This is turning into a mucked up world.

I'm not surprised that at least a few people jumped in to help this child and my most sincere prayers go out to her. I am surprised the guy is alive, though, as some Alaskans are known to carry guns.....

What do you expect man? This is one of the results of the pussification of America. It seems that while evolutionarily we are wired for the flight or fight response, however, our current customs/morals/societal norms dictate that flight is always the better option.
I read the article and I say f*ck that. It's easy to say what you would or wouldn't do given a situation but sometimes human decency has to take over and demand intervention.
I grew up in Atlanta with a single mom two brothers and a younger sister. I was a common punk for many years. The Marine Corps grounded me but since I have been out I was the victim of a home invasion/strong armed robbery in which I was put in the position to fight, or die. Here I am.
A seven year old girl against a grown man is defenseless. The fact a multitude watched and did nothing speaks not only to those peoples characters but to what acceptable bystander behavior is these days. This guy, mental incapacity or not, should be held accountable.
Like I said, the pussification of America.
I just want to say to any critics of my post that I am not some red neck guy that thinks the only way to prove you are a man is through shows of force. I used to be that kid, but I am not that guy. However I still posses the switch, I just have a better controller. Im the nicest most peace loving guy you could ever meet. Let me see a glimmer of this type of situation though and that switch is flipped.
I have no sympathy for such people void of human decency. They want to act like animals, then treat them like they are. If a dog tries to attack you, you take it out back and put a hole in it. I'd do the same to these types of lawless criminals and violent offenders. I only feel bad for their families. What a shame they must be to them.
