This Section Needs a Bit of Levity

It's an island. It's a yacht. It's a totally dumb idea but if anyone wants to buy one, I'm willing to visit and change my opinion. Just not during hurricane season.

I wouldn't be surprised to see one built by one of the vulgar billionaires with their fleets of superyachts. At least it would be something different! Maybe they could build a fleet, call it an island nation and start issuing passports.

It reminds me of the "Grotto" in Hefners Chicago mansion - on a grand scale. A schoolboys dream.

Seasteading Institute, eat your heart out

Create your own "island chain", set up your own libertarian government, get shafted on oil prices like the rest of us

MOG ! These people can not be serious ! And they say they are "pursuing several leads" ? Maybe one of the oil sheiks such as those idiots that are building islands large enough to be seen from space and shaped like palm trees but certainly not by anyone with ANY common sense. That is just too far out. Hope it never gets built while I'm still around. My head would explode. LOL
