I'm going to have to file a restraining order

If I don't stop beating the crap out of me...

I'm one with tools, knives, etc. While making holes in a "custom" lid for a dehumidifier on the boat (because that lid was missing ), I cut myself right across a knuckle.
Later in the day, well...lets just say I'm glad for fingernails otherwise I would have cut a finger tip.
I know how to use a knife so what the hell?

Then, breaking a bolt loose I punched myself in the face. I'm no glass jaw, let me tell you but I saw stars.

If this violence continues to escalate, I'm in serious trouble. I'm such a smooth talker that I'll forgive me and the vicious cycle will start all over again.

A ship in harbor is safe, but that's not why ships are built.

I always thought it was the boat getting back at me for getting too friendly with it's intimate parts

That's just the wages your boat demands for allowing you the privilege of working on it and hanging about on it. You need to get a boat that demands less in wages - yours sounds like it's in a union!

BTW, using the phrase "I am going to have to file" might be construed as a self-fulfilling prophecy. Don't even think about picking up a rat-tail or a rasp anytime in the near future, unless you want to fulfill the destiny.

I ain't got time for that crap!

I figured out the other day my mast head light is out. I will, though, wait until I can work on things without injuring myself for a few days in a row before tackling that one or else I risk a looney tunes Wile E Coyote style exit from this world.

Well, that would be your own fault for hoisting an anvil to the top of your mast
