Not a good look at all. We get the odd bushfire down here. I've had an (un)controlled burn come within a few metres of a place I once owned, I'd hate to get caught up in the real thing.

The fire in Grimes/Montgomery county has reflared and jumped the fire lanes. I have so many loved ones who are evacuating right now...it is a long way from being over.

Yep, Travis. Those are the "Sometimes Islands" near our marina. So you're right, when the lake is full, they're gone. But we're like 50' down right now.
