Iranian navy coming to America

Don't know what to think of this. Is the Iranian navy big enough to send ships all over the world?

They have 3 destroyers, the more recent over 40 years old.

3 frigates with more than 40 years, only a recent one, 3 or 4 old corvettes and 3 20 year's old subs.

Most of its navy is formed by 20 year's old short range missile small boats.

Tactically it is a dumb move on their part because it lessens their home defenses; but a good move on our part because there is that much less sunken hulks clogging the Persian Gulf waterways when we finally decide to wack them.

One more war to fight? How many years on that one

On other way, knowing that US is coming out of Iraq and Afghanistan, it is a good time to transfer the troops to Iraq, it is on the way. After all US is well and sound and has a lot of money to waste in useless wars against the bad guys.

OOOOOHHHH - there's something to worry about - possible attack and / or invasion by the Iranian navy.

One F-16 should be able to take care of them.

Target practice, we need a couple of new reefs off the east coast and the Navy can get rid of some old ammo. This creates a need to build new (even if we have stock piles) adding jobs for the unemployed and stimulating the economy. All the time justifying the need for the military to spend unspent funds.

Now see, Iran does serve a purpose.
