Kayaking To Work

I love this video!
Story and short clip of a Waterford, CT, man who kayaks to-and-from work in New London each day.

Brrr...
The local powers just spent a bunch of road tax funds to clear streams for "alternitive commute routes". Bunch of BS if you ask me.
Sorry to crap on your thread...

Enjoy your talk radio. Yeesh, even a light-hearted story about a guy kayaking to work gets politicized on here.

Considering the state of the economy, the mega rich etc, I would have thought they would be using 80' commuter yachts like they did 100 years ago.

An old story comes to mind An ordinary New York commuter puts fresh 40 grit on his ping pong bat. kisses the wife goodbye and steps out the 3rd floor window into his canoe Nice day but he has to use the bat occasionally on passing commuters. Not everyone can afford a canoe.

Whoawhoawhoa...how is it "what I do"? Check out the low post count and then find a trend of "politicizing" threads among those few posts. I dare you to find one of my posts in a politically titled thread.

Don't act like you know me...FYI I am a registered D. I am the President of my union and very involved in the political arm of said union.

I don't listen to "talk radio" because I think Rush and Beck are crackpots...and the libs can't seems to keep anyone on the air long enough to develop a following.

I don't like the idea of kayaking to work being romanticized because it promotes waste like I described earlier and wanted to put that out there.

...but appearently you like the idea of spending road funds on kayakers.

...try not to run over any flowers with your Prius, Hippy...

BTW...Now I am loving crapping on your thread.

I posted a story about a guy who paddles to work. You're the one who politicized it.
