Paul from NWOnt has rather unkindly stolen my Fuzzy best wishes so you'll have to content yourself with plain old fashioned "All the Best".

Cheers to you Ed , trust it all works out for you.

Thanks everyone. I had my first treatments today which consisted of a chemo session and a radiation session. Feeling okay tonight but the real effects of the radiation won't start showing up for 2 or 3 weeks. This is a case of no pai, no gain. The hospital has wonderful dedicated team of people from doctors to nurses to technitions to janitors who make my visits as good as possible. Everthing is world class and I've already paid for it with 45 years of taxes.
I'll keep you up to date as treatment goes on.
Ed

Ed, glad to see you've got the right mindset - beat this thing at it's own game.
We will all be pulling for you, of course, but your strongest ally at this point is your own
self determination. In every cancer case I've witnessed, and while that's not a huge number,
victory was willed by patient, so keep strong and keep us informed. Prayers your way.

God bless you, Ed. My prayers are and will be with you. Keep the positive attitude. As an Endoscopy Nurse, I have treated many patients fighting throat cancer and other cancers. Attitude makes a huge difference. Hang in there.
