Fiberglass boat destruction

Along with a ecomomic down turn and the price of gas and the fact fibereglas boats don't rot or rust, unlike wood and steel we have marina yads fill up with boats that take up space after the owners quit pay for storage. After getting title the boats can be cut up and the metal sold for scrap or at flea markets. That leaves bulky sheets and scraps of fiberglass.

Is there a portable wheeled shredder that could shred fibegrass and feed them into a dumpster for disposal at a landfill.

This could be a small business ventures in different parts of the country.

There is a fella here in Ontario with a giant chipper. You take the boat to him, he strips it, shreds it and mixes the shredded material with concrete to make patio stones, curbstones etc. He says the patio stones weigh two thirds of a conventioal stone and are 8 times stronger.

oh yeah ...you have to pay him to take the boat.

machines like that are huge, need huge amounts of horsepower, and I'm guessing the boats are going to stay in the yards because most yard owners won't pay a nickle to dispose of them. So how would someone with a $100,000 machine make a buck? jus sayin..

1st. You pay him $200-$500.00 to take your boat.
2nd. He gets the scrap value of all the stainless, aluminum, bronze etc.
3rd. He sells any good gear he finds, anchor rollers, i/o's, cleats, etc.
4th. He sells better concrete products with 50% cheaper materials than his competitors
