I've heard that Phenolthalien, one of the ingredients in a wine making test kit, available in wine making shops everywhere, is the active ingredient in Ex - Lax. It is tasteless, colourless and dissolves readily in alcohol.
Love the recycled beer one. You need to be careful with laxatives though - they can kill. (I know, I know but we're talking real life here, not fantasies).

Many years ago a group of my co-workers were at a company function - a big dinner - and they decided to sabotage an extremely unpopular co-worker. He was just a fat dork, pretty harmless really but he annoyed everyone in the office, every day. They loaded him up with Ex-Lax at the dinner - I can't remember how they said they did it, but he ended up being hospitalized for dehydration and missed about a week of work.

You need to be careful with those things.

My O.P. about the dog that won't let you leave was prompted by a personal experience. We had a female Shar Pei that wasn't wrinkled - she looked a lot like a pit bull and was so dumb she was impossible to train in any way. My parents arrived from out of town for a visit when we had to be out, so they used the spare key to get in. They had never met the dog and when we arrived home they were sitting VERY still on the couch with the dog sitting in front of them. Every time they started to move or get up, she'd start rumbling at them - they had been stuck there for nearly an hour when we got home. Wouldn't it have been wonderful if they had been burglars?
