seems SN is dying out

Been a member a while, but don't post much because when I joined it seemed there were so many plain mean people here. So I put SN as a second tier site for gaining info. But still come around once in while to see if anything interesting is going on here.

But I notice that the number of new threads and the number of people on the site just seems to be dying off.

What gives?

Just the normal ebb and flow of life. In over 8 years, I've seen a number of different "phases".

Actually, over the past 2 years, SN traffic and reach has climbed dramatically compared the previous 2 years. It just keeps getting better.

There were some chumps back then that were just sure SN was dead. It ain't dead yet.
