Sure, I can be jealous of those in the south who are sailing now. I don't try to sail in the Maine winters, though my helper does fish (dive for sea urchins) till January. Here is a video of what I like instead. I do have a pointed bow, wind, water, and in this case, music about sailing played by a local couple. She plays the fiddle, he plays guitar. No bass or drums, just a duo. The music is on the stereo, it's not overdubbed. It's nighttime, so brighten the screen! With the pointy bow, I can ram through the water, which is frozen by the way.
What do you other northerners do to play in the water?? Or to pass the time with enjoyment?
I should have mentioned, it was 5 degrees F. this morning when I had breakfast. My crazy helper fishes in weather like this, even with small craft wind warnings, in December. And super low wind chill.
