Good question. I believe the hull ID's were located in the back of the cockpit (in front of the engine compartment. Mine has two holes there, like where a plate was once attached, but nothing else. The title that came with my boat actually has a hull number listed on it, but in looking the boat over, I can't find one anywhere else. Would be interested to hear if it might be located somewhere else (I looked in the kitchen, looked in the head, looked in the space under the cockpit, etc). No such luck.

Re: Coronado 25?

I'd get the hull id from the title, then confirm it on the boat.

If the owner doesn't have a title then it's scrap.

Coronado 25?

I have a hull ID on title. But plate is missing. And since the requirement to place ID on boat didn't go into effect until 1972 there's no guarantee on boats built before then.
