I just came across the SAR Contacts - Search and Rescue Contacts World-Wide web site.
It is a very user friendly way to get the contact information for SAR centres throughout the world.
The big downside is that it requires an internet connection. Having had to call the RCC at Honolulu when a 1000 miles north, I think it would a fabulous resource if it was possible to download the entire web site, so that it could be used mid ocean.
For my Cape Town to Caribbean trip this fall I may just have to cut and paste the contact info into a document and print it.
