Need help finding an anode for my outboard.

I have a 1976 Evinrude 6hp 2-stroke outboard. I pulled it to replace the fuel pump and noticed the anode is shot. It is 3.5" wide by 1" long and the screw holes are 3" center to center. I cannot find this part anywhere online. Does anyone know of a seller that deals with older outboard parts?

Had the same motor, but a 1970 model. Had several other OMC motors and could always find parts by doing a Google search on "OMC outboard parts".
There was a shop in Sacramento that always had what I needed, including parts for a 1964 9.5 HP Evinrude.

Sounds like the one the merc dealer tried to sell me I just used a generic round one designed for powerboat rudders bought at local marine hardware store for 5 bucks.

I'm leaning towards this. Did you have to trim it at all to get it to fit?

The only one similar on Defender is 1" center to center.

I did this, unfortunately all the sellers I could find only go back to 1980.

Not at all I actually installed it like a clamshell on the forward edge of the anti cav plate and tightened to clamp it on didn't want to drill holes in the casting has been on that for over a year and many hundreds of miles without falling off the one I have is 1.5 inch diameter.
