Just a suggestion...You need to advertise on more than just facebook.
Sailboatlistings.com and craigslist would be a good start.
De-junk the boat and take some interior photos so we can see what it looks like.
What's that one photo that looks like swirl marks? Not a clue what that is a picture of and to be honest, doesn't look inviting.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not advertising the boat on Facebook -- I'm using it as a convenient place for people to go read the detailed listing and see some photos. I just put it on the market yesterday and, aside from here, have only listed it locally in Greenwich, because I have a town mooring there, which a resident can take over. Which is why the price is high -- it includes the mooring, the winter stands, and the dinghy. Craigslist is a waste of time, for a boat like this; all the listings are small boats, power boats, or parts and services. As for the swirl pattern, that's explained pretty thoroughly in the caption.

For what it's worth, I sold my 72 C&C 30 on Craig's list. Price was in the same ballpark. You will get some scam attempts, easy to weed out so just ignore them.

OK, I see your comments about the swirl. Interesting to know.
I don't disagree about Craigslist being mostly small power boats but a lot of people are on there everyday and you never know who might be reading your post. It's well worth a few minutes time to post there. My son sold his small power boat there a few years ago for $9000 - $500 off his asking price and that was when the economy was about at it's worst.

I bought my P30 on Craigs list 5 years ago. Many of the smaller brokers in Annapolis post thier offerings there. It's a great place to look for local boats for sale.

Bought my P30 on E-Bay this past July and paid the asking price, (albeit with some parallel negotiating). Mid-70's Pearson's are great boats! Sorry to hear you're putting her up but, best wishes to you.

Ditto - I found and bought my P30 on Craigslist a year ago and I love my boat.
