New to us P-30

Pending the final results of the survey we will be the pleased new owners of hull #517. Initial report is positive and I am looking forward to getting back to sailing again. We had to give it up due to my back problems. Could no longer raise or lower the mast on our Potter P-19. (Trend here w/"P" boats?) I've been reading as many posts here as I can and I'm impressed with how helpful everyone is. I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions and I look forward to contributing as well as I can being a rookie.

Congrats, Jim and welcome to Sailnet. Lots of advice here and no shortage of opinions. Remember, like a buffet, you don't have to eat it all

Re: New to us P-30

Survey results in! We've bought P-30 #517. Too bad it's winter as I'm anxious to get on with some projects, not the least of which is painting the non-skid to fix the "Pearson Swirl".
