pretty boats and one of my favorite movies, saw it on TV long time ago.
Though a real beauty is my wallpaper, "The America". too big, too old,
requires to large a crew, OMG she is beautiful.
Looks like the schooner "Bluenose". Many years ago on a trip "back east", we went aboard the replica of Bluenose in Lunenburg, Nava Scotia. Even at rest, it was beautiful.
The bluenose is a beautiful boat. I want to go to Halifax now. I could list all the things I don't like about the America, to much overhang on the stern, too much rake on the masts, the main boom is too long, with classic beige sails she looks like she is junk rigged, but somehow the overall leaves me weak in the knees OMG .
