OK, so, since I missed your original post ('Delete') I am going to have to guess that smack... said he would buy it, but you find yourself as a mirror image of him and you realized you: A) did not want him to own your old boat or B) that you are an 'illusion of SmackDaddy' (which does not make much sense unless you were him).
So, which is it, or is there more to it? I know that you can be a bit challenged with a keyboard in front of you but I also suspect that you are not at all in the least mentally challenged.
Aren't you getting ready to drop the dock lines and head out 'there' on 'HG' pretty soon, you old Bassett Hound?
Good luck with your plans.

Jody,
Thanks for the reply. I have to say that $1K for a 27' Catalina is a stellar price but I am not in the market myself as I have an older Tartan 27'. I have also met smack... er. (steve) and he is about at least half the troll he seems to be on the web when you meet him in person. He just has a flair for marketing in his genes and seems to like sailing and posting here a lot.
Good luck with getting rid of your C27 in one piece. We always hope that our older boats go to people who will care for them and realize their potential.
I hope that your Bassett Hound likes 'HG' and is ready to cruise with you and I wish you well.
My best,
CalebD

Lucky hates the heel but heels well? Its a dog thing... they get or do not..Its one of things you get or do not.. greatly influenced by false mis-rep which I never do..It'lk work I am sure.. honesty is the best policy no matter how much it embarrasses yourself... live a lie or live right..its always a choice..

Just to close the thread - I did get a buyer from Portland that saw the opportunity in it and was picked up 2 weeks ago or so.... It took about 4 hrs to get her out - for those that have been to my house, most would say impossible..It did sell for my asking pric and to someone that is more than competent to get her outfitted (even his gf was all onboard with the excitement of the project - that is one lucky dude (hes somewhere on sailnet as well))
