Now that Jody's gone.....Anyone need Crew?

Howdy,

Now that Jody has set sail, is there anyone out there looking for able bodies? I have sailed on Jody's boat a few times, a couple of other big boats around the San Juans, and a sweet little wooden sloop all summer. I am looking to crew for races or for whatever in order to just get out there. I am also willing to help with glass work, rigging, general maintence also. Anybody willing to take on a Newbie???

While I don't drink myself, I am willing to supply beer for others!

Scott

News to me where did Jody set off too?...Probably explains the no reply to a PM I sent him.

The purchase price of a boat is just the admittance fee to the dance...you still have to spend money on the girl...so court one with something going for her with pleasing and desirable character traits others desire as well... or you could find yourself in a disillusioned relationship contemplating an expensive divorce.

Yeah,
last I heard he was getting HG ready for cruising, then his website went offline a few months ago and I assumed he had made the jump. Jody, you still around?

Scott
I race every Wednesday night here on the Hudson River in New York. If you can't make the races, could you please send the beer.

bubb - you're so cheap and tawdry. Anything for a beer.

Last I heard he was moving aboard...don't know about the cruising part.

FWIW... I will be less prolific around here as well...Got to get back to being a productive citizen.

He's still around just not on the forums much anymore. All of the infighting around here put him off. I see him post up on Facebook daily.

He is living in the airstream not too far north of me, finishing up the boat.

Scott,

There are a couple of us that race out of edmonds. Brian races frequently on my boat. SLoop Tavern has a crew list wanted/availible on their website. I'm recalling CYCSeattle too.

Not sure if my boat will be out, but have races Feb 7,21 out of edmonds, one or two in March and april. Djodenda whom posts here occasionally also races out of Edmonds. Anthony will crew on his boat, or mine sometimes.

Marty

She drives me boat,
I drives me dinghy!
