Another I can recommend is Gary Geddes Sailing Home. He sailed his Golden Hind 26 from Bellingham north. He reminisces about his youth. His first teaching job was at Blubber Bay. He describes taking the Atravida car ferry over from Powell River. Just after reading that I pulled into Montague and saw the Artravida which is now the bakery boat during the summer weekends.

Thanks Jack, another one I didn't know about. I'll need to check that one out. quite a coincidence with the Montague, many of the old ferries and other such work vessels often go on to live other quite interesting lives when their originally intended purpose erodes away. I like to see that.
